URA FC were held to a goalless draw by UPDF FC on Friday afternoon at Bombo Military Barracks in a match filled with missed chances.
In the 13th minute, Bruno Bunyaga squandered a one-on-one opportunity, striking the ball straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.
Derrick Kakooza missed the clearest chance of the first half, heading over the bar from close range in front of an open net.
Minutes later, Crispus Kusiima came to URA’s rescue with two crucial saves in one-on-one situations—one inside the box and another outside it.
In the 83rd minute, substitute Moses Okabo Aliro had a golden opportunity to give the visitors the lead, but his low effort, after rounding the goalkeeper, was cleared off the goal line.
