The nominees for the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League Coach of the Month award for April have been revealed.
She Corporate FC head coach Ininahazwe Belyse will compete for the accolade alongside Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC coach Ayub Khalifah and Makerere University head coach Fred Ndawula.
The award recognizes the best-performing coach during the month of April, with performances from Matchdays 16, 17, 18, and 19 taken into consideration.
Ininahazwe guided She Corporate FC to four wins out of four matches during the period.
Her side defeated Makerere University 2-1, beat Rines FC 3-2, overcame Kampala Queens FC 2-0, and secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Olila High School WFC.
These results propelled She Corporate from second place to the top of the table.
Ayub Khalifah, on the other hand, registered three wins and one loss in the four matches.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC beat Amus FC 2-1, edged Lady Doves FC 1-0, thrashed Asubo Ladies FC 8-0, and lost 1-0 to Makerere University, a result that saw them drop from first to second place.
Fred Ndawula guided Makerere University to two wins, one draw, and one loss. His side defeated Amus FC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, drew with Lady Doves FC, and lost to She Corporate FC.
Last month, Ininahazwe Belyse won the Coach of the Month award along with a cash prize of UGX 500,000.
Based on current form and statistics, she appears to be a strong contender to retain the award.
