Ugandan attacker Margret Kunihira starred as Kenya Police Bullets FC thumped Vihiga Queens in the Kenya Women’s Premier League.
Kunihira scored a brace and provided four assists as Kenya Police Bullets cruised to a 9-0 victory on Saturday to maintain their position at the top of the table.
Her fellow Ugandan, Zainah Namuleme, also got on the scoresheet, taking her tally to five league goals and seven assists this season.
Kunihira has now amassed 15 goals and nine assists in the current campaign.
Emily Kemunto added a brace, while Faith Mboya, Lorna Nyarinda, Terry Engesha, and Rebecca Okwaro each contributed a goal to complete the emphatic win.
Kunihira remains the league’s top scorer with 15 goals, three ahead of Elizabeth Mideva.
Kenya Police Bullets now have 46 points, two ahead of second-placed Ulinzi Starlets. However, Police Bullets have two games remaining, while Ulinzi Starlets have one.
A win in their next match will see Kenya Police Bullets crowned champions and successfully defend their title.
