Ugandan star Allan Okello scored a brace as Young Africans defeated Coastal Union 3-0 in the NBC Premier League on Saturday evening.

Okello found the back of the net in the 18th and 63rd minutes before Maxi Nzengeli sealed the victory with a third goal in the 75th minute.

The brace takes Okello’s tally to four goals and seven assists in his last nine appearances for Young Africans across all competitions.

The former Vipers SC playmaker continues to impress and strengthen his place in the starting lineup of the Tanzanian giants.

The victory moves Young Africans to 54 points as they maintain their position at the top of the table, eight points ahead of rivals Simba SC, who still have a game in hand.

Young Africans will next face Dodoma Jiji FC on May 13 as their pursuit of the league title continues.
