Bukedea Comprehensive defeated Masaka SS in a penalty shootout to reach the semifinals of the 2026 USSSA Boys’ Football Championship.

Deus Niwaha gave Bukedea the lead before Simon Kafuma scored a late equaliser for Masaka SS to force the game into penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

In the shootout, Bukedea Comprehensive held their nerves and won 4-1 to seal a place in the last four.

Meanwhile, St Mary’s Kitende produced a dominant performance to thrash Numasa SS 6-0 and also advance to the semifinals.

Denis Kisiriko scored a hat-trick, James Ssekate added a brace, while Claude Wakenge sealed the emphatic victory with the sixth goal.

Earlier in the day, Kyadondo SS eliminated defending champions Buddo SS with a 1-0 victory, while Amus College edged London College Nansana by the same scoreline to book their place in the semifinals.

Bukedea Comprehensive, St Mary’s Kitende, Amus College and Kyadondo SS have all qualified for the FEASSA Games after reaching the semifinals.
