Four Crested Cranes Players Win FKF Women’s Premier League Title With Kenya Police Bullets
Four Ugandan players helped Kenya Police Bullets FC clinch the 2025/26 FKF Women’s Premier League title in Kenya.
Striker Margaret Kunihira, Crested Cranes captain Zainah Namuleme, goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro, and defender Desire Katisi Natooro were all part of the title-winning squad for Kenya Police Bullets FC.
The Kenyan side entered their final league match having already secured the championship on the previous matchday.
In their final game of the season played on Sunday, May 17, Kenya Police Bullets FC defeated Soccer Assassins FC 1-0 at home to conclude the campaign in style and celebrate the title triumph in front of their supporters.
During the match, Kunihira provided the assist for the winning goal, taking her season tally to 16 goals and 10 assists.
The Ugandan forward was also named the league’s Most Valuable Player and finished as the Golden Boot winner in an outstanding debut season with the Kenyan club.

Meanwhile, fellow Ugandan midfielder Zainah Namuleme ended the season with five goals and seven assists.
Kenya Police Bullets FC secured the league title for the third consecutive season and will now represent Kenya at the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
In Uganda, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC won the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League title on the final day of the season and will also represent the country at this year’s CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
