KCCA FC striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe has won the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League Golden Boot after the league officially concluded on Saturday.
Despite KCCA FC finishing the season without silverware, Ahimbisibwe ended the campaign as the league’s top scorer with 14 goals.
In his debut season for the Kasasiro Boys, the forward will at least have the Golden Boot to celebrate after an impressive individual campaign.
Ahimbisibwe entered the final day leading the scoring charts with 13 goals and needed only 20 minutes to score his 14th goal of the season against Mbarara City, courtesy of a brilliant assist from Ashiraf Mugume.
Entebbe UPPC striker Ambrose Kigozi failed to score against BUL FC despite his side’s 4-0 victory on the final day and finished the season with 12 league goals.

Vipers SC midfielder Karim Watambala also ended the campaign with 12 goals after scoring from the penalty spot in his side’s 2-0 victory over Express FC.
Vipers forward Usama Arafat and Kitara FC striker Patrick Henry Kaddu both completed the season with 10 league goals each.
Meanwhile, Vipers SC were officially crowned champions of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League, while Calvary FC and Buhimba United Saints suffered relegation.
