The head coach of the Uganda women’s national under-17 football team, Sheryl Botes, has named the final squad for the return leg of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Kenya.

The squad consists of two goalkeepers, six defenders, 10 midfielders, and two strikers.

Coach Botes has made one change to the squad, with Sheila Mungutimu dropped and replaced by Tahia Nantege.

In the first leg, Kenya women’s national under-17 football team held Uganda to a 1-1 draw at FUFA Stadium Kadiba.

Shadia Nabirye scored for Uganda before Kenya equalised through Emily Adhiambo.

The decisive return leg will be played this Saturday at Nyayo National Stadium.

The winner on aggregate between Uganda and Kenya will progress to the next qualification round, where they will face either Tanzania women’s national under-17 football team or South Africa women’s national under-17 football team.
