2025-26 FUFA Big League: Blacks Power Crowned Champions as Season Award Winners Emerge

The 2025-26 FUFA Big League season officially came to a close on Sunday, June 7, with Blacks Power crowned champions following a successful campaign.

Blacks Power finished at the top of the table with 55 points from 30 matches and were officially presented with the league trophy at Ebenezer University Playground.

FUFA Executive Committee member representing the Northern Region, Dan Obote, officiated the trophy handover and crowning ceremony, while former Blacks Power player Emmanuel Okwir presented the trophy to the club.

The champions won 16 matches, drew seven, and lost seven to finish ahead of Ntugasaze, Kataka FC, and Kigezi HomeBoyz.

As a result, Blacks Power, Ntugasaze, Kataka FC, and Kigezi HomeBoyz secured promotion to the Uganda Premier League for the 2026-27 season.

At the other end of the table, Wakiso Giants, Nebbi Central, Mbale Heroes, and Soltilo Bright Stars were relegated to the Regional League.
