Kampala Queens FC confirmed that coach Shafic Mutebi rejoined their technical team for the third stint.
Here’s everything he said.
“Personally, it feels like coming home. This club is part of my DNA,” Mutebi said.
“Professionally, returning for a third time is a huge vote of confidence. It shows that the club trusts my understanding of its culture and my ability to help deliver results.”
“The ambition here is the highest in Ugandan football,” he explained.

“At this stage of my career, I want to be where the pressure is greatest and the goals are clearest—winning trophies and competing for continental glory.”
“My primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between the head coach and the players,” he said.
“I am here to ensure that the players fully understand the coach’s tactical ideas and instructions while giving him my full support.”
“The environment here is elite. The players have shown incredible discipline and a positive attitude,” he noted.
“Despite the pressure of defending the title, there is a supportive atmosphere that allows players to grow and improve.”
“My philosophy is built on free-flowing football, possession, and adaptability. That fits perfectly with the identity of this club—we want to play dominant football with flair and authority.”

“The chase is on. We still have a strong chance to defend the title, but it requires a cup-final mentality,” he said.
“We must focus on winning every remaining game because that is the only thing we can control.”
“My goal is to help the club achieve its dream of dominating the CECAFA region while maintaining our status as the number one club in Uganda,” he added.
“We promise to fight until the end. Your support has been tremendous, and in this crucial title race we need you more than ever. Your energy from the stands will help push us across the finish line.”
