Ntugasaze Partner with She Mubs as Official Women’s Team Affiliate

Uganda Premier League newcomers Ntugasaze FC have confirmed a partnership with She Mubs WFC, making the club their official women’s football team affiliate ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The announcement was made on Saturday, June 27, through the club’s official social media platforms.

“We’re proud to welcome She Mubs WFC as the official women’s team of Ntugasaze FC.

Together, we’re committed to developing talent, empowering women, and shaping the future of Ugandan football,” the club stated.

She Mubs WFC currently competes in the FUFA Kampala Regional League, the third tier of women’s football in Uganda.

The partnership comes as the Club Licensing process continues, with clubs working to meet the mandatory requirements ahead of the 2026-27 Uganda Premier League season. One of the key licensing requirements is for every top-flight club to either own or affiliate with a women’s football team.

Several Uganda Premier League clubs have already established such partnerships. Vipers SC are affiliated with reigning FUFA Women Super League champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, while KCCA FC have partnered with Kampala Queens, the reigning FUFA Women’s Cup holders.

Record league champions SC Villa are affiliated with FUFA Women Super League side St. Noa Girls FC, while Entebbe UPPC have partnered with Rines SS WFC. NEC FC, on the other hand, are affiliated with Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC.

Meanwhile, Kitara FC, Maroons FC, UPDF FC and Police FC each own and operate their respective women’s football teams rather than partnering with independent clubs.

The 2026-27 Uganda Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on August 28, with the official fixtures expected to be released a month before the opening round.
