Kampala Queens Part Ways With Assistant Coach Sharon Kizza

Kampala Queens FC have officially confirmed the departure of assistant coach Sharon Kizza Aceng following the expiry of her contract.

The FUFA Women’s Cup winners announced the development through their official social media platforms, revealing that Kizza opted not to renew her contract with the club.

In a farewell message, Kampala Queens thanked Kizza for her dedication, commitment, and valuable contribution during her time at the club.

Kizza served as assistant coach to Asefa Firew Haile Gabreal for the past two seasons, playing a key role in one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.

During her tenure, Kampala Queens won the 2024–25 FUFA Women Super League title and lifted their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup in the 2025-26 season.

It is understood that the CAF instructor -certified coach chose to leave the club in pursuit of a head coaching opportunity.

Kizza holds a CAF B Coaching Licence and under FUFA regulations, is eligible to serve as head coach of any club competing in the FUFA Women Super League.
