KCCA Agree Terms With Express FC Midfielder

Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC have agreed personal terms with Express FC midfielder Elvis Ssekajugo ahead of the 2026/27 season.

This website understands that the highly rated midfielder is set to sign a three-year contract with the Lugogo-based club as KCCA continue to strengthen their squad during the ongoing transfer window.

The Kasasiro Boys are determined to assemble a team capable of challenging for major honours and ending their trophy drought, with the club viewing Ssekajugo’s creativity and potential as valuable additions to the squad.

Ssekajugo has enjoyed a steady rise through Uganda’s football ranks, progressing from academy football, school competitions, the FUFA Juniors League and the Masaza Cup before joining the Uganda Premier League.

The youngster captained the Uganda Cubs in 2021 and was part of the Uganda U18 national team that won the CECAFA U18 Championship in 2023. He has also earned call-ups to the Uganda Hippos national team.

KCCA FC have already strengthened their midfield with the signing of Elvis Ngonde from SC Villa on a three-year contract.

The club has also parted ways with Sharif Ssengendo and Brazilian forward João Gabriel Esteves Cardoso following the termination of their contracts.

Meanwhile, midfielder Brian Ijara has completed a move to Europe, while Joel Sserunjogi has joined reigning Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
