UPL: Mbarara City Denied Access Ahead of BUL Clash

Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City have been denied access to the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru ahead of their Friday match against BUL FC.

With less than two hours remaining before the scheduled 4:00pm EAT kickoff, Mbarara City were seen stranded at the main gate of the FUFA Technical Centre, where the match is due to be played.

The incident comes on the same day that the FUFA Disciplinary Panel fined FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels over a similar occurrence.

The panel found the home side in breach of competition rules for failing to ensure smooth access for the visiting team, Kataka FC, and cautioned the club to comply with FUFA regulations.

Mbarara City, who are currently struggling in the league, travel to face BUL FC hoping to replicate the performance from their previous visit, when they defeated the Eastern Giants.
