Kenya Police Bullets Unveil Crested Cranes Playmaker Hadijah Nandago
Kenyan giants Kenya Police Bullets have officially unveiled Crested Cranes playmaker Hadijah Nandago.
Nandago has been a free agent since leaving Indian side Sethu Women FC last year and now returns to competitive football with the Kenyan champions.
The intelligent attacking midfielder has already joined the team in Rwanda as they prepare for the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.
She becomes the fourth Ugandan player at Kenya Police Bullets, joining Daisy Nakaziro, Margret Kunihira and Desire Katisi Natooro.
Nandago has represented Uganda at U17, senior women’s and Crested Cranes levels, bringing valuable international experience to the squad.
She is expected to add creativity and attacking quality to the team as Kenya Police Bullets look to strengthen their squad for the continental campaign.
Last year, Kenya Police Bullets won a bronze medal in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers, and they will be aiming to go a step further and win the title this year.
Nandago has previously played for Sethu Women FC, Kampala Queens and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, and has also had a stint in futsal.
