KCCA FC will be without five players when they visit Lugazi FC on Saturday in a Uganda Premier League matchday 21 encounter.
Striker Derrick Nsibambi and attacking midfielder Bright Anukani have both been ruled out with knee injuries.
James Mubezi is sidelined after suffering a hand fracture, while Alpha Ssali is out with a hamstring injury.
Goalkeeper Charles Lukwago has also been granted compassionate leave following the death of his mother, bringing the number of absentees to five ahead of the clash.
Despite the injuries, co-head coaches Jackson Magera and Brian Ssenyondo will still expect a strong performance from their side, given the squad depth available.
Fresh from a convincing 3-0 victory over rivals Express FC in their previous league outing, KCCA FC will look to carry the same momentum into the trip to Najjembe against struggling Lugazi FC.

Lugazi FC narrowly lost 1-0 to URA FC in their last match and currently sit 12th on the table with 18 points, just three points above the relegation zone.
Playing at home and having managed a draw with KCCA FC last season, Lugazi will be hoping to capitalize on home advantage to secure three points as they begin their fight for survival before the situation worsens.
In the previous three meetings between the two sides, KCCA FC have won once, while the other two matches ended in draws.
KCCA FC co-head coach Jackson Magera shared his thoughts ahead of the trip.
“Lugazi is a different side when playing at home, but our focus is on maintaining the intensity we showed against Express. We are in the business end of the season and cannot afford to drop points if we are to continue our pursuit of top honours.”
KCCA FC will rely heavily on striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe, the league’s top scorer with 10 goals, to lead their search for goals on Saturday.
Lugazi FC assistant coach Robert Sekweyama is expecting a positive display from his players.
“We expect a tough but entertaining game for the fans. We have played well in the last three games but failed to get the maximum points, which is what matters most. However, we believe we are ready on Saturday to secure all three points.”

“Defender Richard Ayiko returns from suspension and will be available for selection ahead of the clash with KCCA FC.
However, Lugazi will be without Adam Mutesasira, Hamza Mulambuzi and forward Umar Kyabatala, who are all sidelined with injuries.
