Ugandan representatives Kawempe Muslim have defeated Kenya Police Bullets 1-0 after extra time to win the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers title.
Agnes Nabukenya scored the decisive goal in extra time to hand Kawempe Muslim their first-ever CECAFA title and complete a historic triumph for the Valley Warriors.
The victory also makes Kawempe Muslim the first Ugandan club to win the regional CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
Kawempe Muslim will now represent Uganda and the CECAFA region at the CAF Women’s Champions League later this year.
