Mbarara City will visit winless Ntugasaze on Wednesday, October 7, as the Uganda Premier League returns from the international break.

The league resumes today, with Mbarara City still searching for their first goal of the season. The Ankole Lions will be hoping to end their scoring drought against a Ntugasaze side that has lost every game so far.

Ntugasaze, meanwhile, will look to capitalise on home advantage and secure at least their first point of the season.

Mbarara City have collected two points from their opening three games but are yet to find the back of the net. One of their key players, Clinton Kamugisha, spoke about the game after the team’s final training session on Tuesday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

“We reached Kampala safely, and we have had good training sessions ahead of the Ntugasaze game. We will do our best to score the first goal and get the three points,” Kamugisha said.

Elsewhere, Kitara will host Kigezi HomeBoyz in Hoima, while SC Villa will face Kataka in Bukedea. Maroons will host Lugazi at Wankulukuku.
