Senegal FA Condemns CAF Ruling, Confirms Appeal to CAS

The Senegalese Football Federation has strongly condemned the decision by the Confederation of African Football to award the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title to Morocco, describing the ruling as unjust and damaging to the image of African football.

In an official statement, the federation denounced what it termed “an unfair, unprecedented, and unacceptable decision that brings disrepute to African football.”

The FSF confirmed that it will take immediate steps to challenge the ruling by filing an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.

The federation further reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of integrity and sporting justice, adding that it will keep the public informed of any developments regarding the case.
