The Legacy Corporate League, which was launched in February, finally got underway on 22nd March at Jeph Stadium in Butabika Luziira.
More than ten companies participated in the tournament, making the day a celebration of sports and camaraderie. Activities included volleyball, football, netball, and other games.
Among the participants was the Uganda Medical Association, whose representatives emphasized the importance of corporate sports.
“It’s a pleasure to be part of this league this time around,” said a representative of the Uganda MedicalAssociation.
“As the Uganda Medical Association, we encourage sports not only to keep our bodies physically fit but also to support our mental health. Sports also provide a great opportunity to interact and make connections that can positively impact many aspects of life. We also want to thank our sponsors,MBN, TMR, Radio Four, and Sheraton Hotel who have made this league possible this year.”

Stephen Bayanga, Administrator of TMR International Hospital, highlighted the hospital’s role in supporting the event.
“Today we are at Jeph International Stadium to support the participating teams by providing medical assistance. This includes basic, intermediate, and advanced life support, ranging from first aid to advanced care,” Bayanga said.
The Legacy Corporate League is scheduled to run until the end of the year, promising more days of sports, fun, and corporate engagement.
