Three regional heavyweights are reportedly interested in signing SC Villa forward Hassan Mubiru.
According to Kawowo Sports, Tanzania’s Simba SC, Singida Black Stars, and Rwanda’s APR FC are all monitoring the former KCCA FC youngster.
Reports further indicate that Singida Black Stars, where Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho features, are currently leading the race for Mubiru’s signature.
The forward has enjoyed an impressive season at SC Villa, registering two goals and providing six assists, the highest in the squad.

His contributions have played a key role in the club’s run to the Uganda Cup quarterfinals, as well as their current fourth-place position in the Uganda Premier League standings.
Mubiru joined SC Villa in 2024 on a three-year contract and has one year remaining on his deal, a situation that could prompt the club to consider a transfer.
A winner of the 2019 CECAFA U-17 Championship with the Uganda Cubs, Mubiru is known for his ability to beat defenders on either flank, operating effectively as both a left and right winger.
He is also noted for his creativity, vision in attack, and precise curling shots.
