MD 22 Fixtures (Wednesday)
Maroons FC vs BUL FC – Luzira, 4pm
Express FC vs Police FC – Nakivubo, 8pm
Police FC will be without six players for their Uganda Premier League Matchday 22 clash against Express FC today.
The match will be played under the floodlights at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo.
Police FC will miss Ryan Kizito Figo, Ivan Eyamu, Tonny Kiwalazi, Otto Daniel, Derrick Maviiri, and Stephen Namaisi, who is suspended.
Umaru Kasumba remains a doubt and could increase the number of absentees to seven. However, there is a boost for Police as Jemba Ramsey has returned from injury and is available for selection.
For Express FC, Lawrence Bukenya and Gift Ali will miss the fixture, while the rest of the squad is available.
Heading into the game, Express are aiming for back-to-back league victories following their 3-1 win over URA FC in their previous match. Police, on the other hand, will be seeking a return to winning ways after a 1-0 defeat to NEC FC.
In the reverse fixture, Police secured a 2-1 victory over Express, courtesy of goals from Bedia Ikamba and Umaru Kasumba, while Muhammad Senoga Kagawa, now at NEC FC, scored for Express.

Police also won the last home league meeting between the two sides by the same 2-1 scoreline. Notably, their last five league encounters have produced 16 goals, an average of 3.2 goals per game.
Historically, the two sides are evenly matched, with 13 league meetings yielding six wins each and one draw.
Police will be aiming to complete a league double over Express for the first time since the 2017/18 season.
A win for Police would temporarily move them up to fifth position with 38 points. Express, meanwhile, would move to 26 points with victory, though they would remain 10th on the table.
