2026 MASAZA CUP: Ssekabuza Rejoins Gomba as Full Technical Team is Confirmed
Gomba Ssaza have confirmed the appointment of Felix Ssekabuza as their head coach for this year’s Masaza Cup edition.
Ssekabuza, who guided Buweekula to the title last year, returns to Gomba, a region where he was born, raised, and previously coached.
“I am happy to return home. Serving my people is a great joy. I am excited to be back and cannot wait to get started,” Ssekabuza said.
The CAF B licensed coach brings a wealth of experience and is expected to guide Gomba in their pursuit of a sixth Masaza Cup title, having failed to progress beyond the group stages in the 2025 edition.
He will be assisted by Davis Nnono Ssozi and Alex Kizito.

The 2026 Masaza Cup tournament is scheduled to kick off in June.
Gomba remain the most successful team in the competition’s history, having won the title five times.
