SC Villa has postponed the swearing-in ceremony of president-elect Haji Omar Ahmed Mandela, which had been scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026.

According to a club statement, the Board of Trustees will instead officially unveil the unopposed president to the Villa Members’ Trust on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba. The event is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.

The unveiling will be followed by a Uganda Premier League fixture between SC Villa and KCCA FC at the same venue, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

Entry fees have been set at Shs 5,000 for ordinary tickets and Shs 50,000 for VIP.

The club has called on its supporters to attend the event as SC Villa ushers in a new chapter under Mandela’s leadership.
