2025-26 FUFA Big League: Blacks Power Win Title as Promoted and Relegated Teams Are Confirmed
The 2025-26 FUFA Big League season came to an end on Saturday, June 6, with all eight final-day fixtures played as the champions, promoted clubs, and relegated teams were officially confirmed.
Blacks Power entered the final round of matches at the top of the table, with Kigezi HomeBoyz sitting second and only three points separating the two sides.
While Blacks Power played out a goalless draw against Onduparaka, Kigezi HomeBoyz suffered a 1-0 defeat to CATDA FC, who were battling relegation. The results ensured Blacks Power finished as league champions.
Blacks Power ended the campaign at the summit with 55 points and will be officially crowned champions on Sunday, June 7, at Ebenezer University Playground.
The champions, Blacks Power, together with Ntugasaze, Kataka FC, and Kigezi HomeBoyz, have secured promotion to the Uganda Premier League for the 2026-27 season.
Meanwhile, the four teams relegated to the Regional League have also been confirmed.

CATDA FC, Kaaro Karungi, and Onduparaka all survived relegation on the final day of the season.
However, Soltilo Bright Stars, Wakiso Giants, Nebbi Central, and Mbale Heroes were relegated from the FUFA Big League after failing to secure their status.

Among the season’s statistics, Ntugasaze registered the fewest defeats, losing only five matches throughout the campaign, while Mbale Heroes suffered the highest number of losses with 19 defeats.
