78-Goal Attacker Joins BUL

In a quiet move, David Mugalu has joined Uganda Premier League side BUL FC from lower-division outfit Nantabulirwa 1 FC.

The versatile outfield player has completed his transfer from Nantabulirwa 1 FC to BUL FC, marking a major step forward in his football career.

Mugalu began his senior football career with Nantabulirwa FC in 2021, rising through the ranks from the fifth division before securing his dream move to the top flight.

During his time with Nantabulirwa FC, Mugalu also featured for Airtel Buganda Masaza Cup side Kyaggwe, where he has spent the past three seasons and currently serves as assistant captain.

Sources close to the player say Mugalu, who primarily operated as a target man, scored 78 goals over four seasons, making him one of the most lethal players during his time at the club.

However, his technical ability eventually saw coaches move him into the middle of the park, where he developed into an outstanding midfielder for Kyaggwe.

His versatility and ability to adapt to different positions have now earned him an opportunity to compete at the highest level of Ugandan domestic football with BUL FC.

The move represents a significant milestone for Mugalu, whose journey from the fifth division with Nantabulirwa FC to the Uganda Premier League highlights his steady rise through the ranks.
