Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC have won the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League title on the final day of the season after defeating Olila HS WFC while She Corporate were held by She Maroons.
Jovia Nakagolo, Latifah Nakasi and Agnes Nabukenya each scored a goal as Kawempe Muslim secured a 3-1 victory over Olila. Mary Lotyang scored the consolation for the visitors.
The victory takes Kawempe Muslim to 52 points, while She Corporate’s draw leaves them on 51 points, handing the Valley Warriors the league title in dramatic fashion on the final day.
It is also the first time in the history of the FUFA Women Super League that a club has won the title with 52 points, the highest tally ever recorded.
Latifah Nakasi’s goal also ensured she finishes as joint top scorer alongside She Corporate forward Jesca Namanda, with both players ending the season on 15 league goals.
To win the sixth league title, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC registered 16 victories in 22 matches, drawing two and losing only two throughout the season.
The two defeats meant Kawempe were the team with the fewest losses in the league campaign.
The Valley Warriors also finished the season as the highest-scoring side with 43 goals, while conceding the fewest goals at just 13.

Interestingly, their only two defeats came against the same opponent, with Makerere University completing a home-and-away double over them.
Kawempe Muslim will now represent Uganda in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers later this year.
Meanwhile, Olila HS WFC and Asubo Ladies FC are the two relegated sides and will compete in the FUFA Women Elite League next season.
She Corporate forward Jesca Namanda was named the Most Valuable Player of the Season and also finished as joint top scorer alongside Kawempe’s Latifah Nakasi, with both players scoring 15 league goals each.
She Corporate goalkeeper Molly Naava was named the Best Goalkeeper of the Season.
