Bright Anukani Leaves KCCA FC

Attacking midfielder Bright Anukani has confirmed his departure from Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC.

The stylish midfielder made his departure official through his social media handles.

“My yellow and blue family. I exit with sincere gratitude for the opportunity once again. 💛💙,” Anukani confirmed via his Twitter account.

Anukani rejoined the Lugogo-based side in July 2024 as a free agent following his spell at Vipers SC.

However, during his time at KCCA FC, he has had limited playing time due to injuries, making his departure from the club increasingly likely.

His first spell at KCCA FC dates back to 2020, when he joined the club from Proline FC.

Following his departure, a number of Uganda Premier League sides are reportedly interested in the talented midfielder, with strong reports indicating that Entebbe UPPC are leading the race for his signature.

Anukani now begins a new chapter in his career as he looks for an opportunity that could provide him with more regular playing time and allow him to rediscover his best form.
