Bruno Bunyaga Completes Loan Move to Kenyan Side
Uganda striker Bruno Bunyaga Junior has completed a loan move to Kenyan side APS Bomet FC from Uganda Premier League outfit URA FC.
The forward has signed a short-term loan deal that will keep him at the Kenyan club until January 2027.
Kenyan side Bandari FC were also interested in securing Bunyaga’s services, but APS Bomet moved swiftly to beat them to the signing of the lethal striker.
Kenneth Kimera is expected to replace Bunyaga at URA FC ahead of the new season.
Coached by Charles Odera, APS Bomet finished 10th in the FKF Premier League last season.
Bunyaga is known for his pace, intelligent runs into the box, aerial ability and clinical finishing, making him one of the promising forwards in Ugandan football.
The 22-year-old striker has represented the Uganda Hippos, the national U20 men’s team.
He has previously played for James Madison University in the United States, Buddu Ssaza, Buvuma Ssaza and URA FC, among other clubs.
