Exciting Young Forward Kisirikko Commits Future to URA

Uganda Premier League side URA FC have secured the future of promising forward Denis Kisirikko Luzige after the youngster signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Kisirikko’s previous contract expired at the end of the 2025-26 season, but he has now extended his stay with the Tax Collectors until the end of the 2028-29 campaign.

Confirming the development, URA FC stated:

“We are delighted to announce that forward Denis Kisirikko Luzige has renewed his contract with the Club.”

The contract extension is part of URA FC’s ongoing efforts to retain some of their most promising young talents as they rebuild ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The Tax Collectors have already handed new three-year contracts to youngsters Godfrey Ssekibengo and Innocent Kisolo as they continue shaping their squad for the future.

URA endured a disappointing 2025-26 campaign, finishing 11th in the Uganda Premier League with 31 points from 30 matches.

As preparations for the new season gather pace, the club is determined to strengthen its squad and assemble a team capable of competing for major honours.

Kisirikko is regarded as one of the club’s exciting young prospects, having progressed through various grassroots football structures, including the USSSA Games and the FUFA Juniors League, before making his way into senior football.

His contract renewal represents another important step in URA FC’s commitment to developing and retaining young talent.
