Express FC have confirmed that midfielder Blanchar Mulamba has been discharged from hospital following a successful minor surgery.
In a statement released by the club on Sunday evening, Mulamba was discharged on Sunday afternoon after undergoing the procedure a day earlier.
The midfielder will now continue his recovery at home under close monitoring and is expected to return to hospital on Tuesday for a follow-up review.
“We thank the doctors and everyone who has been checking on us,” the club said in their latest update.

Mulamba had been rushed to hospital after sustaining a head injury during Express FC’s Uganda Premier League clash against BUL FC, where he lost consciousness following a collision.
Initial medical examinations, including a CT scan, ruled out any serious internal damage, allowing doctors to proceed with further treatment and minor surgery.
The latest update comes as positive news for the club and supporters, with Mulamba now on the road to recovery.
