Express Provide Positive Update on Mulamba After Head Injury
Express FC have issued a reassuring update on midfielder Blanchar Mulamba following the head injury he sustained during their Uganda Premier League 2-0 defeat to BUL FC on Friday evening.
Mulamba suffered the injury after a collision with BUL FC’s Hilary Onek, which left him unconscious and bleeding heavily from the mouth due to a deep cut on his lips.
He was immediately rushed to Case Hospital, where a CT scan was swiftly conducted. The results came back negative, ruling out any serious internal damage.
However, the midfielder is set to undergo further medical examinations today, as advised by the attending doctors.
He is also scheduled to undergo a minor operation and additional assessments as part of his recovery process.

The club confirmed that Mulamba is now in stable condition and responding well to treatment.
“We wish to inform the general public that Blanchar is now stable and responding positively to treatment. We will continue to share necessary updates in due course,” the club stated.
More updates on the player’s condition are expected as he continues to receive medical care.
