Former FUFA Drum Title-Winning Coach Set for Ntugasaze Role
Coach Dudu Bosco is in advanced talks to join newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Ntugasaze FC, this website understands.
The experienced tactician is expected to replace Morgan Chancely, who guided Ntugasaze to promotion to the Uganda Premier League for the 2026/27 season after the club finished second in the 2025-26 FUFA Big League standings with 53 points.
As they prepare for their maiden season in the top flight, Ntugasaze are keen to strengthen their technical bench and believe Dudu Bosco’s experience will be crucial in helping the club achieve its objective of maintaining its Uganda Premier League status.
The move has also been influenced by FUFA’s club licensing requirements, which mandate that all Uganda Premier League head coaches possess a CAF A Coaching Licence.
With the licensing process for the 2026/27 season already underway, Ntugasaze have been forced to seek a qualified tactician, with Dudu Bosco emerging as the leading candidate for the position.

The CAF A Licence holder boasts a wealth of coaching experience and previously guided West Nile Province to the FUFA Drum title.
Dudu Bosco is widely known for his possession-based style of play, emphasis on ball control, and entertaining brand of football, qualities that have earned him admiration at several clubs throughout his coaching career.
Throughout his coaching career, he has worked with several clubs, including Al-Nasir SC in South Sudan, Calvary FC, Paidha Black Angels, Onduparaka FC, NEC FC and the KCCA FC Junior Team.
The 2026/27 Uganda Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on August 28, with the fixtures expected to be released a month earlier.
