Former Kampala Queens FC assistant coach Sharon Kizza Aceng has agreed terms to join Uganda Premier League side URA FC following the expiry of her contract with the Queens of Soccer at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The CAF B Licence holder and CAF coaching instructor is set to join the Tax Collectors as the club’s second assistant coach.
According to reports, Kizza is expected to sign a two-year contract with URA FC ahead of the new season.
URA FC have already confirmed the appointments of Jimmy Kintu as head coach and Godfrey Magoba as first assistant coach, with both signing two-year contracts.
Kizza is regarded as one of Uganda’s progressive coaches, known for her attacking philosophy of football, a style she first developed during her time at Msingi Soccer Academy in Mukono.
During her two-season spell at Kampala Queens, she helped guide the club to the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League title and their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup triumph.
She also brings Uganda Premier League experience, having previously served on Brian Ssenyondo’s technical team at Kitara FC.
