Kaddu Completes Return to Uganda Premier League

Uganda Premier League side BUL FC have completed the signing of defender George Kaddu, this website understands.

According to reliable sources, the left-back has already agreed terms and signed for the Eastern Giants, marking his return to Ugandan football after a stint in Kenya.

Kaddu is expected to be officially unveiled by BUL FC in July ahead of the start of the 2026/27 season.

The 26-year-old joins the Jinja-based club as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC.

Known for his accurate crossing ability, long throw-ins, and attacking runs from the left flank, Kaddu is expected to add quality and experience to BUL’s defensive unit.

His arrival is part of BUL FC’s ongoing squad rebuilding process after several departures at the end of last season.

The club has already secured the services of URA FC defender Faizo Matovu, while promising left-back Emmanuel Shikanga has also reportedly agreed personal terms with the Eastern Giants.

Kaddu previously featured in the Uganda Premier League with Wakiso Giants FC before making the move to Kenya.

Over the course of his career, he has represented Gomba, Ssingo, Kiyinda Boys, Wakiso Giants FC, and Tusker FC.

BUL FC are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign after finishing ninth in the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season, a position that saw them miss out on qualification for the FUFA Super 8 tournament.

Coach Alex Isabirye is expected to continue reshaping his squad as the club seeks a stronger showing in the upcoming season.
