Soltilo Bright Stars 0-2 Kataka FC

Kataka FC have secured promotion to the Uganda Premier League after defeating Soltilo Bright Stars 2-0 on the final day of the 2025-26 FUFA Big League season.

Usama Khayemba and Ali Ssentamu scored a goal each as Kataka claimed a crucial victory in Bugolobi to seal their return to Uganda’s top flight.

The result confirms Kataka as one of the four clubs promoted to the Uganda Premier League alongside Ntugasaze, Kigezi HomeBoyz, and Blacks Power.

For Soltilo Bright Stars, the defeat marks a disappointing end to the season as they are relegated from the FUFA Big League to the Regional League.

The club featured in the Uganda Premier League during the 2024-25 campaign but has now suffered back-to-back relegations.

Meanwhile, Blacks Power have officially been crowned champions of the 2025-26 FUFA Big League.
