Kawempe Muslim vs Kampala Queens, 3:00 PM – FUFA Stadium, Kadiba
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The 2026 FUFA Women’s Cup final will take centre stage on Sunday afternoon as two Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women’s Super League giants, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Kampala Queens FC, battle for the coveted trophy at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
With free entry announced for fans, a packed stadium is expected as both sides seek to make history by lifting their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup title.
Kawempe Muslim secured their place in the final after a dominant 6-0 aggregate victory over defending champions Amus College in the semifinals.
Kampala Queens, meanwhile, booked their spot with a convincing 4-0 aggregate win against Lady Doves.
The last meeting between the two sides in the FUFA Women’s Cup came in 2023 when Kawempe Muslim recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory away from home.
However, their league encounters last season ended in identical 1-1 draws, highlighting how closely matched the two teams are.

Kawempe Muslim enter the final seeking redemption after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Amus College in last year’s final.
Victory on Sunday would see the Valley Warriors become the first club to win both the FUFA Women’s Super League and the FUFA Women’s Cup in the same season.
Kampala Queens, on the other hand, are chasing a historic first major cup triumph. The Queens of Soccer have enjoyed an impressive cup run and will be determined to cap it off with silverware.
Experienced forward Catherine Nagadya brings valuable pedigree into the final. She won the competition with Makerere University in 2019 and again with Uganda Martyrs in 2023.
Alongside Kamiyat Naigaga and the in-form Joanitah Ainembabazi, Kampala Queens possess one of the most dangerous attacking units in the competition.
Ainembabazi has been particularly impressive, finding the back of the net in all four FUFA Women’s Cup matches she has played this season.
Kawempe Muslim will rely on the prolific partnership of Jovia Nakagolo and Latifah Nakasi, who have played a crucial role in the club’s journey to the final with their goals and attacking chemistry.
Kampala Queens will, however, be without key forward Peace Muduwa, who is suspended after being sent off in the semifinal victory over Lady Doves.
