Tuesday Fixtures
BUL FC vs NEC FC – FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, 4pm
Mbarara City vs Express FC – Rwamwanja Stadium, Kamwenge, 4pm
URA FC vs Maroons FC – Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, 8pm
BUL FC will be without several key players as they host in-form NEC FC at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Tuesday in Matchday 26 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
The Eastern Giants will miss their top scorer Karim Ndugwa, Ibrahim Orit, and Walter Ochora as they seek back-to-back victories.
“We will not have Ndugwa, Orit, and Ochora against NEC FC,” confirmed the BUL FC head coach in a pre-match interview via the club’s official YouTube channel.
BUL FC come into this game on the back of a return to winning ways after a four-match winless run, having defeated Express FC 2-0 at Nakivubo.
NEC FC, on the other hand, secured a 1-0 victory over struggling Mbarara City at Lugogo, courtesy of a goal from Hannington Sebwalunyo.
The Eastern Giants are yet to register a win against NEC FC and will need to be at their best to overcome a side that remains unbeaten this year.
In the first leg, Jeremy Kirya equalized for BUL FC after Joseph Dhata had given NEC FC an early lead, as the match ended in a draw.
The two sides have faced each other six times in all competitions, with NEC FC winning once and five matches ending in draws.
It has now been exactly two years and four days since NEC FC last defeated BUL FC, thanks to Kelvin Barni’s decisive second-half goal—ironically, the player is now part of the BUL FC squad.
NEC FC have kept 11 consecutive clean sheets in all competitions, underlining their defensive solidity, and have also scored in eight of those matches.
A win for NEC FC would take them to 47 points, four behind second-placed KCCA FC, SC Villa, and Kitara FC.
For BUL FC, victory would see them maintain eighth position and move to 37 points.

Richard Basangwa has returned to training following the recent incident in the Express FC match but will not feature in this fixture.
Emmanuel Ajo has also resumed training but remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
Jacob Okao and Gideon Odongo are also sidelined, while the rest of the squad is available for selection.
Elsewhere, Mbarara City host Express FC at Rwamwanja Stadium as they seek vital points to avoid relegation, while URA FC host Maroons FC under the floodlights at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
