Kisiriko Hat-trick Fires St Mary’s Kitende Into USSSA Semifinals

Denis Kisiriko scored a hat-trick as St Mary’s Kitende thrashed Numasa SS 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2026 USSSA Boys’ Football Championship to reach the last four.

The URA FC forward starred for Kitende, while James Ssekate added a brace and Claude Wakenge scored the other goal to complete an emphatic victory.

The win ensured that St Mary’s Kitende progressed to the semifinals of the ongoing USSSA Games in Lira and also secured qualification for this year’s FEASSA Games.

In the semifinals, St Mary’s Kitende will face Amus College on Monday for a place in the final.

Earlier in the day, Kyadondo SS eliminated defending champions Buddo SS with a narrow 1-0 victory to book their place in the semifinals.

Bukedea Comprehensive also progressed after defeating Masaka SS 4-1 in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Bukedea Comprehensive will now face Kyadondo SS in the semifinals.

All four semifinalists have secured qualification for the 2026 FEASSA Games.
