Kitara 2-0 SC Villa
Kitara FC defeated SC Villa on Thursday as Matchday 26 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League came to a close.
Patrick Henry Kaddu and Yunus Sibira each scored in the first half to secure a 2-0 victory for Kitara, as they avenged their 1-0 loss in the first leg.
The Royals took the lead at the half-hour mark through Patrick Kaddu before Yunus Sibira doubled the advantage at the stroke of halftime.
SC Villa created several chances in the second half but failed to find the back of the net, as Kitara held firm to protect their lead and secure maximum points, registering back-to-back league wins.
The victory lifts Kitara to second place with 54 points, five behind table leaders Vipers SC, while SC Villa drop to fourth with 51 points.
In their next fixtures, SC Villa will host BUL FC on May 8, while Kitara will be at home against NEC FC the following day.
