Kunihira Scoops Three Awards at Kenya Police Bullets End-of-Season Gala
Ugandan international Margret Kunihira emerged as the biggest winner at the Kenya Police Bullets FC End-of-Season Awards Gala, held on Tuesday, July 7, after claiming three individual accolades.
Kunihira was named the club’s Most Valuable Player, won the Golden Boot award, and also received the Chairman’s Award following an outstanding 2025/26 campaign.
The talented winger scored 16 league goals and provided 10 assists as Kenya Police Bullets successfully defended their league title.
Her impressive performances also earned her the league’s Golden Boot and Most Valuable Player awards.

The event was graced by Football Kenya Federation President Hussein Mohammed, who commended the club for recognizing excellence.
“I joined Kenya Police FC for their End-of-Year Gala Awards as they celebrated exceptional performers from both their men’s and women’s teams.
This is a commendable initiative to recognize and reward excellence. Congratulations to all the winners and to the entire Kenya Police FC family for a well-executed event. Wishing both teams success in the upcoming season,” Hussein said.

Ugandan goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro and defender Desire Katisi Natooro attended the ceremony, while midfielder Zainah Namuleme was absent.
Kenya Police Bullets will represent Kenya at the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers, which are scheduled to kick off on August 22 in Rwanda.
The team has already begun preparations for the tournament with pre-season training underway.
