Muhammed Kyeyune Joins Another Uganda Premier League Club
Uganda Premier League side URA FC have completed the signing of versatile attacker Muhammed Kyeyune from Entebbe UPPC.
This website understands that Kyeyune has signed a two-year employment contract with the Tax Collectors.
URA beat off competition from Ntugasaze, Police FC and BUL FC, who were all interested in securing the winger’s signature.
The left-footed attacker enjoyed a consistent campaign with Entebbe UPPC last season, making 26 league appearances out of a possible 30. He scored two goals and provided two assists for the Bugonga-based side.
Capable of playing as both an attacking midfielder and a winger, Kyeyune is expected to add creativity and attacking quality to URA’s frontline.
Last season, URA’s joint-top scorers were Ronald Otti, Fred Amaku and Joseph Ssemujju, with each player finding the net four times.
Kyeyune’s arrival is expected to improve the club’s attacking output by providing more creativity and chances for the forwards.
The Tax Collectors endured a disappointing 2025/26 Uganda Premier League campaign, finishing 11th in the standings. The club is now strengthening its squad as it aims to challenge for silverware next season.
Kyeyune has previously featured for Entebbe UPPC, Soltilo Bright Stars and Maroons FC in the Uganda Premier League.
Meanwhile, URA recently unveiled Jimmy Kintu as head coach and Godfrey Magoba as first assistant coach, with both signing two-year contracts.
The Tax Collectors are expected to remain active in the transfer market, with the transfer window set to remain open until September 19, 2026.
