Ugandan forward Catherine Nagadya has continued to establish herself in the Al Ahly Women team after making an impressive start to life at the Egyptian club in her first three games.

The versatile player, who is deployed as a defensive midfielder at the club, continues to make her presence felt in the attacking department.

On Friday, September 25, Nagadya played the entire game as Al Ahly thrashed Smouha 10-0 to maintain their 100 per cent winning record after the opening three matches of the season.

The Crested Cranes player featured for the full 90 minutes as a defensive midfielder and registered an assist in the emphatic victory.

In her first three games at her new club, Nagadya has scored two goals and provided one assist, taking her goal involvement tally to three.

For a player who is known for her attacking qualities and has been deployed in a defensive midfield role, her impressive contribution to the team’s goals highlights her versatility and ability to influence matches from different positions.

Nagadya will now shift her focus to the next assignment as Al Ahly prepare to face Enppi in their fourth league game of the season.
