Namuleme Completes Move to URA Ladies

Crested Cranes midfielder Zainah Namuleme has completed her move to FUFA Women Super League newcomers URA Ladies FC.

The workaholic midfielder has signed a two-year contract with the Tax Collectors.

Namuleme joins URA Ladies from Rayo Sport Women FC in Rwanda, where she featured in the recently concluded CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.

She becomes the third player to be unveiled by URA Ladies, following Shamusa Najjuma and Patince Nabulobi, who joined from KCCA Women FC.

URA Ladies earned promotion to the FUFA Women Super League after winning the 2025-26 FUFA Women Elite League and will compete in the top flight for the first time in the club’s history.

The newcomers will host KCCA Women on Sunday, September 20, in their opening fixture of the 2026-27 FUFA Women Super League campaign.

In that game, Namuleme will face her former club, where she left a lasting legacy as the longest-serving player and helped KCCA Women win their maiden Super League title.

URA Ladies are expected to make more signings before the transfer window closes on September 19.
