OFFICIAL: Charles Lwanga Returns to KCCA
Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC have officially confirmed the return of striker Charles Lwanga ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The club announced the signing on Saturday, July 4, 2026, through its official social media platforms.
Lwanga joins the Kasasiro Boys as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with SC Villa.
He has signed a two-year employment contract with the Kasasiro Boys.
The striker returns to Lugogo, where he previously spent three years before his contract was terminated in 2023, paving the way for his move to SC Villa.
“I am happy to be back, and I want to rewrite my story here. I am eager to work with the players and coaches at the club. They are top quality players here, so I expect the competition levels to be up, and I am hopeful I can achieve a lot of success with this club.” Said Lwanga on rejoining the club.
Lwanga becomes KCCA FC’s second official signing of the current transfer window following the arrival of midfielder Elvis Ngonde, who also joined from SC Villa on a three-year contract.
The club has also confirmed a one-year contract extension for defender Hassan Muhamud, keeping him at Lugogo until 2027.
