OFFICIAL: KCCA Unveil Ahimbisibwe in Second Stint

Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC have officially unveiled striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe, completing his return to the Lugogo-based side for a second stint after his brief spell in Iraq.

Ahimbisibwe, who left KCCA FC last month to join Iraqi side Zhako SC, has returned to the Kasasiro Boys on a two-year employment contract.

The club officially confirmed his return on Saturday, September 19, through their official website.

“If I was ever going to come back home, it was always going to be KCCA FC; there was never any doubt. This club treated me like family during my time here, and the love from the Cityzens was unmatched,” Ahimbisibwe said via the club’s website.

The Hunter returns to Lugogo after spending last season with KCCA FC, where he enjoyed an outstanding campaign and finished as the Uganda Premier League’s top scorer with 14 goals.

His return provides a significant attacking boost to Brian Ssenyondo’s team, who have registered just one victory in their opening four league matches this season.

Ahimbisibwe will immediately join the squad for training as KCCA FC use the international break to regroup, reshape and prepare for the remainder of the campaign.

The striker is expected to make his KCCA FC debut this season against his former club URA FC on October 9.
