OFFICIAL: URA FC Unveil Muhammed Kyeyune
Uganda Premier League side URA FC have officially unveiled versatile attacker Muhammed Kyeyune following his move from Entebbe UPPC.
The Tax Collectors confirmed the signing on Tuesday, July 7, through their official social media platforms.
Kyeyune has signed a three-year contract with URA FC, keeping him at the club until 2029.
The left-footed attacker is capable of playing as both an attacking midfielder and a winger, providing head coach Jimmy Kintu with greater tactical flexibility ahead of the new season.
The former Maroons attacker, enjoyed a consistent campaign with Entebbe UPPC last season, making 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and providing two assists.
Kyeyune is expected to strengthen URA’s attacking department with his creativity, vision and ability to create goal-scoring opportunities.
Last season, Ronald Otti, Fred Amaku and Joseph Ssemujju finished as the club’s joint-top scorers with four league goals each, highlighting URA’s struggles in the final third.
Those attacking shortcomings contributed to the Tax Collectors finishing 11th in the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League standings, 10 points above the relegation zone.
URA are expected to remain active in the transfer market as they continue strengthening their squad, particularly in the attacking department, ahead of the new campaign.
The club has already confirmed contract extensions for Innocent Kisolo, Godfrey Ssekibengo and Denis Kisiriko.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Kintu and Godfrey Magoba have also joined the club as head coach and first assistant coach, respectively, as URA seek to build a squad capable of competing for major honours next season.
