Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns Teammate  Dies

South African midfielder Jadyen Adams has died at the age of 25.

The Mamelodi Sundowns star, who was a teammate of Ugandan goalkeeper Denis Onyango, passed away on Saturday, July 11.

Reports indicate that Adams’ family confirmed his death but requested privacy during this difficult time. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Adams was part of the Mamelodi Sundowns squad that won the 2025-26 CAF Champions League alongside Onyango.

The talented midfielder also represented South Africa at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
