Title contenders She Corporate suffered an early setback after St Noa Women FC stunned them with a narrow victory at their own home.

In a game played at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Giovanna Aketowanga’s early first-half goal proved decisive as St Noa secured a valuable 1-0 victory.

At Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, newcomers URA Ladies FC suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to KCCA Women FC, formerly Kampala Queens.

Kamiyat Naigaga scored a brace, while Rinah Ariho added another goal to seal a convincing away victory for the former champions.

In Masindi, Uganda Martyrs defeated hosts Lady Doves 1-0, with Ritah Jessica scoring the only goal of the match.

In Wakiso, She Maroons eased past Rines SS WFC with a comfortable 3-0 victory on the road.

Bridget Nabisalu converted from the penalty spot, while Lillian Mutuuzo and Jackline Adong each added a goal to give She Maroons maximum points in their opening fixture.

Meanwhile, Makerere University earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Amus College at home, courtesy of a goal from captain Nabude Fungo.
