Tanzania vs Uganda, 4:00 PM – KMC Stadium

The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team, the Teen Cranes, have booked their place in the final of the CECAFA U17 Women’s Championship, where they will face hosts Tanzania.

Uganda secured their spot in the final with an impressive 3-0 victory over Kenya in the semifinals, while Tanzania defeated South Sudan 4-0 to set up a highly anticipated title clash.

Shadia Nabirye, Immaculate Acen, and an own goal by Jael Samiyu helped the Teen Cranes overcome Kenya and continue their remarkable run in the tournament.

The victory means Uganda have now scored 23 goals without conceding a single goal on their way to the final, underlining their dominance throughout the competition.

The final between Uganda and Tanzania will be played on Tuesday at KMC Stadium, with both teams aiming to be crowned regional champions.

Uganda are the defending champions of the tournament, having won the title in 2019 under coach Ayub Khalifah.

Having maintained a perfect record so far, the Teen Cranes will be hoping to finish the campaign on a high and successfully defend their CECAFA U17 Women’s Championship crown.
